www.kanamuna.comIn the context of today’s technological society, the www.kanamuna.com performance presents the ancient Finnish mythological belief that the world was created from seven eggs. During the performance the performer destroys a computer keyboard with a hammer and mixes it with the yolks of seven eggs recreating the ancient origin of the world and at the same time creating the new world where people, though seemingly free, are dominated and constantly oppressed by machines. The performance explores the way technologies influence people’s lives, the estrangement of people and the concept of freedom in today’s post-hyper-ultra-modern situation.
